C-DEP gets acknowledged in G20 Toolkit

By C-DEP Team

The Digital Economy Working Group (DEWG) of this year’s G20 under Indian presidency has acknowledged the contribution of C-DEP in drafting its toolkit for ‘Introducing Upskilling and Reskilling Programs’.

The toolkit, a collaborative effort between MeitY, UNESCO, NASSCOM, with support from C-DEP, aims to support countries in bridging the digital skill gap and creating a future-ready workforce.

C-DEP had actively contributed to the digital skilling priority area of DEWG as a knowledge partner, and helped in developing annexures for the G20 Toolkit and the Roadmap for Cross Comparison of Digital Skills. Both the toolkit and the roadmap were included in the DEWG’s outcome document and referenced in the New Delhi Declaration. Additionally, CDEP helped to organise a multi-stakeholder workshop during the 2nd DEWG meeting in Hyderabad, which contributed to shaping the agreed Roadmap for Cross Country Comparison of Digital Skills.
